I’m Kaysee Shuster, a tattoo artist in Concord, New Hampshire specializing in custom blackwork illustrative art that helps you express your authentic self.

I absolutely love being a tattoo artist. I feel more like myself when I decorate my body, and I love helping other people express themselves in an authentic way, so they feel more comfortable in their own skin, too.
If you’re vibing with art that’s a little witchy, a little punk, and a little cottage core, you’re in the right place! My favorite tattoos to create are botanicals, animals, insects, and portraits inspired by my love of nature.
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a tattoo artist. Actually, I went to college for biology, but a professor urged me to switch my major to fine arts because of the creative potential he saw in me. Instead, I decided to risk it all and drop out so I could pursue a career as a tattoo artist. And I’m so glad I did.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil and have always loved expressing myself through art. I believe that creative improvement is limitless, and this work lets me continue to grow as an artist, while helping my clients express themselves and feel good in their bodies. My background in biology is an added bonus, helping me identify and draw plants, animals, and human anatomy!
I started my apprenticeship at Sacred Art Tattoo in Seymour, CT, and I worked as a tattoo artist there for more than six years before moving to Golden Order Tattoo here in Concord, NH.
My goal as an artist is to create a comfortable environment, where you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend. I love getting to know my clients and sharing more about who I am, too.
I have a love for plants and animals. I have fun hiking, and I studied wildlife conservation in college. Nature is the best!
I also love horror movies, video games, and playing my guitar in my spare time. Art in all its forms, including music, is my passion.
I like to say that I’m inclusive as heck. It is so important to me to create a safe and affirming space for all my clients.
The world can be a scary place right now, especially for marginalized communities. People deserve to be able to make choices about their own bodies, in so many ways. I believe that tattoos can be a form of empowerment and bodily autonomy, letting us make choices about our appearance that help us feel comfortable, excited, and authentic.
I do the work I do so you can have art that you’re proud of – and that helps you feel comfortable in your own skin.
